Worth knowing
- OpenAI's help site blocked automated reads, so these facts come from the Internet Archive's copies of the OpenAI pages (snapshot dates are in the source list). Open the live pages before you rely on them.
- The OpenAI API is a separate product from ChatGPT. OpenAI says API data is not used to train its models unless you opt in, and keeps API inputs and outputs for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring unless you are approved for zero data retention.
